The question being pondered at present is what is going to be the future of card counters in Blackjack. are the times of card counting over? Most would say yes.

Automatic shuffling is being used in casinos today which makes shuffle tracking or card counting impossible. The real world casinos are going to place shuffle machines at the tables.

It is stated that in places like sin city, surveillance cameras are being employed to look at the skill of the players and smart chemin de fer tables that records gamblers hands and schemes using magnetized chips.

The Control Board in Nevada, an group that ensures honest gambling has ruled that casinos may not alter the games in a manner that would alter the frequency of the payouts. Since then, many Nevada betting houses instruct their croupiers to count cards and shuffle as they please, also almost all of the casinos retain information on card counters, this information consists of names and pictures to try and keep them from playing the game.

So what will be the outlook of this twenty-one "war"? is it just starting or will it quickly reach a resolution? Despite all their latest tech, political and monetary affects, I believe there remains a chance for a joyful result. With in excess of twenty-five states within the US offering chemin de fer games, there are more money making opportunities for card counters than back in the good old days.
